This course exists to create a safe, welcoming and fun container in which to discover and explore the foundations of Contact Improvisation (CI). It is open to anyone who would like to gain a solid grounding in the basics of CI.

This class will centre around the theme of repetition: We will explore foundational weight-sharing principles, giving ourselves time to discover increasing detail and nuance through the variation and repetition of learned patterns. We will also consider repetition as a creative endeavour for digging deeper.
